This NIT is in Kerala and the college is well known for proving good education and has a high placement rate as well. But the trouble that most students have is the weather and language barrier here. Kerala being a coastal state gets very hot and humid for the most part of the year. There are only a few AC rooms available in the hostel so book them fast if you get admitted here. The hostel food is not edible. There are food courts on the campus and several restaurants and food joints near the college campus which are good. It is best to stay off campus as paying guest because then you are not bound to the mess.
